Automate Your PowerSchool Exports to BigQuery

In PowerSchool, navigate to System → Page and Data Management → Data Export Manager. Create or edit an export, scroll to the delivery options, and set the method to SFTP with the credentials your SISBridge implementation partner provides. Set your preferred schedule (nightly is most common) and save. SISBridge automatically detects and processes every export from that point forward.

Any data available through the Data Export Manager — enrollment, demographics, attendance, grades, course schedules, standardised test scores, health records, and custom fields. If DEM can export it as a delimited file, SISBridge can load it into BigQuery.

As often as your DEM export runs. SISBridge processes each file the moment it arrives on the SFTP server. Most schools schedule nightly exports for fresh morning dashboards, but you can run more frequent syncs if needed.

Yes. SISBridge detects structural changes in your DEM exports — new columns, renamed fields, changed data types — and updates the corresponding BigQuery table automatically. No manual intervention required.

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit over SFTP and at rest in BigQuery. SISBridge infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. Secure service accounts control all BigQuery access, and a full audit log is available to your team at all times.

SISBridge currently focuses on ongoing automated syncs (hourly, daily, or weekly). Historical data loading is on the product roadmap — pilot partner schools are helping shape this feature and will get early access when it's ready.
